Mahlab is one of Australia’s largest independent business communications agencies, with 50 staff across Australia, NZ and Singapore. We deliver strategic, insight-led consultancy services that drive growth, customer retention and increase market share.

**We are now looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our Communications team. This is a full-time role, based in our Sydney office. The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $72,000 + Super.**

The Mahlab Social Media Manager lives and breathes social media. You know how to connect with audiences on everything from LinkedIn to TikTok, and how to do it in a way that delivers the right outcomes for clients.

You’re the agency expert on social media trends. You know what approaches and formats will perform best on each channel and you’re able to develop social media strategies that encourage audiences to learn about and engage with a brand, download an asset or share content with their own networks.

You create social content, but you also love data. You want to know how the social content you’re creating has performed, what could have been done differently and what worked so well, we’ll do it again.

You’re incredibly collaborative and love teaming up with other creators, data analysts and strategists to continually improve social media programs for our clients. You’re not afraid to present your ideas - both internally and to clients - and love seeing these ideas come to life.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Ideating, planning, developing, implementing and managing content and strategies for clients social media accounts
- Presenting social media content plans and strategies to clients
- Develop social media campaigns and define their KPIs
- Create and update content across various social media channels
- Engage with both followers and customers
- Resolve client queries and change requests

**Skills and experience**:

- 2+ years’ experience in a similar Social Media Manager role
- Ability to develop social media plans and content ideas
- Ability to develop vertical video and other social media content formats
- Ability to identify and manage external social media creators
- Ability to read engagement data and identify trends/opportunities
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and departments
- Possess exceptional multi-tasking skills
- Able to explain complex social media data in an understandable way
- Strong problem solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Managing relationships with stakeholder and senior management
- Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and keyword research
