Community and Learning Centre Leader

**Team leading/ management experience in a Homestead community and Learning Centre will be required**:

- **Hybrid work model** provided**:

- **Promote Adult, Community and Further Education programs and activities for council members**

You will be coordinating the delivery of adult community and further education, and neighbourhood house programs within a social justice framework.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Lead a team responsible for developing programs and activities for community members
- Working with the team to ensure the community centre is maintained to a high standard
- Developing an engagement and communication plan to promote centre programs and activities
- Coordinating the delivery of Adult, Community and Further Education
- Maintaining a positive image to uphold the reputation of the council
- Encourage and maintain the ACFE registration and ensure compliance with the ACFE requirements

**To be successful you will have**:

- Previous experience in community leadership or a management role is desired
- A desire to develop and maintain a great team culture
- Local government experience is not required, but is beneficial
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to encourage Adult, Community and Further Education
- Proactivity and positive attitude towards work
