Great 4-month Customer Service opportunity to join a local government in the northern suburbs dedicated to maintaining a great organisational culture and encourages diversity.

Are you a customer service professional who is motivated and proactive to collaborate with community members and offer solutions over the phone in a timely and courteous manner?

You will work as a team in a large council in the northern suburbs. You will be joining a team that is committed to providing high levels of customer service over the phone to community members and ensuring that all their inquiries are resolved. Training will be provided during the first week to ensure that you are well equipped to excel in this position.

**You will be responsible for**
- Providing accurate information to community members to resolve their inquiries
- Learning the council’s operations and being aware of any applied changes
- Promoting and maintaining high-quality customer service in all communications with customers on the phone
- Maintaining a good reputation of the council by offering high quality service in all interactions with members of the community and customers

**To be successful you will have**:

- Previous customer service and/or call centre experience
- Local government experience is ideal
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Dispute handling and problem-solving skills
- Proactive attitude to work and learning new systems
