Department of Premier and Cabinet (DCPC) is seeking bright, highly-motivated and publicly minded professionals to join the Governance Branch as a Policy Officer. We currently have two (2) Fixed Term Full Time positions available for 2 years.
The Governance Branch provides advice and support to the Premier and DPC's Secretary on the operation of the Victorian government, including on matters of public administration and governance, Victoria's accountability framework and the public sector workforce (executive and VPS).
As the Policy Officer working in the Institutions of Government team, you will work with dedicated colleagues to provide advice on the operation of the Victorian government, including on matters of public administration and governance, and Victoria's integrity, accountability and standards frameworks.
You will work in a fast-paced environment, and engage with stakeholders to represent the Department's view and negotiate good outcomes. There will also be opportunities to contribute to the longer-term strategic projects in the team, the Branch, and the Department.
This exciting role is a unique opportunity to make a significant policy contribution, and develop your strategic thinking and engagement skills.
