Megadeck are Australia's most established staging company creating spectacular installations that inspire event-goers around the nation. We're growing and fast. To help to support this growth, we're searching for a Casual Workshop Labourer to join our committed team leading the Australian event staging industry with innovative, premium Australian manufactured products.

This is a casual role based in Sydney, Australia.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
- Ensure workplace is always clean and presentable
- Must be able to work alone and in a team environment
- Heavy lifting of equipment and raw materials
- Basic Painting of plywood and MDF materials
- Basic metal fabrication tasks i.e. drilling and cutting (training provided)
- Miscellaneous tasks in our workshop area

**Qualifications & experience**
- Must have good communication skills
- Punctuality
- Enthusiastic
- Reading / Writing skills
- Good phone manner
- Attention to detail
- Positive CAN DO attitude
- Forklift Licence is preferred but not essential
- Metal fabrication experience is a bonus
- Full licence is a must and be able to drive a Manual Vehicle
- Basic computer skills required
- Must be highly Motivated

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $27.46 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Botany, NSW 2019: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
