We are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our facility at Port Botanyon casual ongoing basis. Role will see you working around Port Botanyand will be offered opportunity for a temp to permanent role based on productivity. All works conducted will be preventative maintenance and breakdowns. 

As a member of a service team, you'll handle equipment upgrades, overhauls, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on heavy complex assets across various industries. The role demands both independent fieldwork and collaborative efforts on larger projects.

The successful applicant will be provided a uniform, travel allowance, great support from a solid team and an ongoing position with an immediate start. Shifts may be rotated weekly and MUST BE available to work between Day and Afternoon Shifts, 6.00am-2.30pm and 2.00pm – 10.30pm Plus Required Overtime.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and experience:

  • Recognised Trade Qualification Minimum Cert 3
  • Previous Industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing or Heavy Plant Maintenance environment or similar
  • Confined Space Ticket
  • Working at Heights Ticket
  • EWP above 11m
  • Forklift
  • Available for immediate interview and commence immediately

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and improving the complete site for manufacturing equipment, utilities, building maintenance etc
  • Complying with quality, housekeeping, safety and cleaning procedures.
  • Works in a safe manner consistent with company safety policy & processes.
