We are currently working with one of Australia’s largest dynamic delivery providers, who deliver chilled, frozen and ambient product to households, retail stores and warehouses Australia-wide.

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on **NSW Operations Manager **to assist with the day-to-day management of this operation.

**Key Responsibilities / Skills**
- Managing temperature-controlled DC-operations day to day - Ensuring cost efficient operations across daily load outs, Line Haul, pick pack, scan/sort for despatch and general operations of the NSW DC
- Ensure state operations practices comply with all company/ legislative policies and procedures (including Fatigue management, WH&S and HACCP guidelines)
- Ensure all KPI's and targets are achieved within the agreed benchmarks and time frames
- Setting and hitting subsequent team KPIs in
- and out-side the DC, creating a process driven environment with high accountability and ownership
- Manage workforce effectively to ensure adequate and cost-effective resourcing, managing workforce headcount, absenteeism, leave utilisation and performance
- Maintain a focus on continuous improvement of warehouse operations
- Ensure the warehouse and associated vehicles and tools are maintained to standard
- Assist operations team and manage all Stock Control, Replenishing and Supply Chain objectives
- Building strong processes and a strong operations team around you
- Supply Chain/Logistics, preferably in FMCG or Chilled Food
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Operations with a strong background in labour planning, cost management and improvement opportunities
- Previous experience and strong understanding of logistics/transport industry is a must
- Superior knowledge of warehouse operations within a 3PL environment
- Strong experience with WMS - E/g.WMS, Carton Cloud, Accellos etc.
- Pick pack experience is a must (Pick to light, Pick to voice, Wave pick, etc.)
- Have a thorough understanding of safety and compliance (Fatigue Management, WH&S, HACCP)
- Outstanding client relationship attributes and a strong quality focus
- Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders
- 3+ years' managing teams with strong leadership experience and proven success
- Are curious by nature and will happily investigate and proactively seek answers
- Ability to liaise with key stakeholders, and get along and communicate with a diverse range of personalities and cultural differences.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet agreed deadlines.
- Energy, enthusiasm and positive attitude with a desire to progress.
- Self-motivated and uses initiative for process improvements.

**Salary**: $150,000.00 per year
