**The role**

As a Kitchen Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for assisting with the end-to-end operations of our Central Kitchen facility. You will be based in Newstead, where you’ll help lead our Central Kitchen team in QLD to produce our freshly made vegetables, and supply our restaurants with their daily orders.

Get out of the craziness of a normal kitchen environment and join the movement to change fast food. Our Central Kitchen is not customer facing nor does it undergo service rushes that a typical kitchen would, allowing for structure, stability, and strong team culture.

**Skills and experience**

You’ll have:

- Experience working in industrial and/or restaurant kitchens
- A passion for food and kitchen operations
- Ability to lead, motivate, and build an efficient team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership ability, approachability, and a reputation as a role model
- Characteristics reflective of FISHBOWL’s ethos: self-motivated, positivity, service-oriented, flexible, and ethical with a high degree of integrity.

**Your tasks**

You will:

- Supervise ingredient preparation in the kitchen
- Use our state of the art processing machines
- Maintain adequate inventory levels and conduct regular inventory counts
- Ensure critical standards of product quality, daily food safety and sanitation
- Oversee the training of employees to ensure the highest quality standards, safe operation of kitchen equipment and the proper handling of heavy items and hazardous materials
- Role model and reinforce FISHBOWL’s people and culture standards

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
