**Bookkeeper**

We are seeking a highly organised and solutions-focused Bookkeeper to own our day-to-day finances.

Accounts Receivable & Payable, Payroll, data extraction and reporting.

You will work with our financial accountant and CFO, under the supervision of a registered BAS Agent.

Born and bread in Canberra, we value community and connections, so we want a local on our team that could work some hours from home, but most hours from our location in Fyshwick.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Location: Partly WFH, mostly Newcastle St Fyshwick.
- Hours: Negotiable. Could be school hours M-F, or full time hours.
- Salary: $61k to $71k
- Opportunities: Potential to discuss BAS supervision hours for those aiming to become a registered BAS Agent

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Bank Feeds: Clear and manage bank feeds regularly
- Approval Management: Maintain the “Awaiting Approval” spreadsheet
- Communication: Manage communication channels such as Slack for HR-payroll, AdminAccounts, and Finance
- Financial Data Analysis: Extract and analyse financial data for business reporting
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirement
- SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated bookkeeping experience
- Relevant qualifications in bookkeeping or accounting
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
- Interpersonal skills to build solid working relationships
