Duxton Pubs is one of the fastest growing locally owned and operated hospitality groups in Australia. With 23 hotels in our portfolio, this is truly an exciting time to be joining Duxton

Working in the Duxton finance team and providing financial support to the Duxton Pubs portfolio, your role will champion accounts payable, accounts receivable and most importantly payroll. This fast-paced role allows you to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders whilst ensuring a smooth process for employees, venues, and suppliers.

Some daily tasks include:

- Processing weekly payroll for your allocated venues, ensuring employees are paid in accordance with the HIGA Award;
- Liaising with Venue Managers on payroll queries;
- Coordinating purchasing workflows for a group of hotels, including timely and accurate processing of invoices, statement reconciliations and supplier payments;
- Confirming account details with new suppliers;
- Reconciling bank accounts including credit cards;
- Assist with end of month reporting and general ledger reconciliations; and
- Liaising with suppliers, operations staff and internal stakeholders.

About you:
To ensure your success you will have:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounts, payroll, or bookkeeping role;
- Previous payroll experience is essential (HIGA award preferred);
- Previous experience using XERO;
- Working knowledge of Excel;
- A strong sense of initiative to tackle any task head on;
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements;
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
- Confidence to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
