**ABOUT THE COMPANY**

Our client is a privately owned, market leading provider of community services in their sector. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a well communicated Commercial Analyst to step into this role reporting directly through to the Head of Commercial Accounting.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As Finance/Data Analyst, you will be responsible for providing commercial analysis, financial and quantitative reporting and identifying process improvement opportunities. You will translate large data sets across the business into commercial insights to enable critical strategic and financial decisions.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide insightful reports and commercial analysis (both regular and ad hoc) across key financial and operational metrics to senior leadership;
- Critically review and analyse financial, operational, and clinical data, able to draw out insights through development of dashboards in Excel, PowerBI or Board Analytics tool;
- Lead the provision of monthly data to third party partners to ensure the integrity of the organisation's financial data and modelling;
- Support the budget, and reforecast, process for the business by providing insights into key revenue and expense drivers;
- Lead the development and continuous enhancement of driver-based budget and forecast models;
- Work as a bridge between finance users and ICT team data requirement and finance solution deployment;
- Prepare other ad-hoc analysis as directed by the Head of Commercial Accounting or as required by the business.

**SKILLS & EXPERTISE**
- Possess tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance, and be CPA/CA qualified;
- Aged Care Industry experience is highly desirable but not essential;
- Have advanced proficiency using MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word;
- Possess SQL / PowerBI / other data analytics tool proficiency;
- Have strong commercial acumen and be a strong team player
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively;
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to reporting deadlines;
- Have complex problem-solving skills, in addition to flexibility and ability to adapt to change;
- Passion to drive continuous improvement in business processes.
