**Lighting Illusions Electrical** is a division of a highly successful, progressive and privately owned multi-outlet lighting retailer with 6 stores around SEQ.

We are seeking an experienced electrician to join our team in a leadership and admin position, starting immediately. You must be motivated and have exceptional customer service skills. The majority of the team’s work is providing Lighting Illusions customers with exceptional service, and installation services for lights fans and other domestic products. The team is also responsible for supporting the retail store network with any in-store electrical work.
- Electrical jobs quoting
- Scheduling tasks for the department
- Managing people/team, including remotely
- Solar installs
- Testing & tagging
- Smoke alarms
- Fire protection systems
- Good knowledge of domestic and multi-residential installations
- Experience in ServiceM8, Tradify, Simpro or other similar job software would be advantageous

You must be a strong communicator with good computer literacy skills but, most importantly, you need to possess a passion for delivering the highest standards of service. Though you will be required to help out your team with their jobs at times, the primary role will involve effectively leading the electrical business unit and possessing certain skills will be beneficial:

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Punctual and well presented
- Great at problem solving with excellent eye for detail
- Good business sense and strong problem-solving skills
- Accountable for the departmental unit’s budget and resources
- Confident and professional communication skills both written and verbal
- Energetic and professional customer service approach with excellent phone manners
- Keep electricians on task and maximise onsite billing
- Good with computers / tech savvy
- Ability to quote work onsite and over the phone
- Work with retail stores to increase sales in the electrical department
- Look for new business opportunities

Types of work your team will perform include:

- Domestic installations (focusing on replacing existing lighting and ceiling fans)
- Servicing and fault finding
- Basic data installations.
- Light commercial electrical installs/maintenance

Qualification requirements:

- Current Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic Licence
- Current CPR/LVR
- Blue/white construction card
- Current open driver's licence (Class C)

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
