Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our electrical and instrumentation projects in Brisbane.

You will have the opportunity to work on diverse multi-disciplinary projects, including those related to battery minerals and plant optimisation.

  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience as an Engineer in Australia.
  • Experience in heavy industry electrical and instrumentation design, including reviewing and marking up technical drawings and providing construction and commissioning support.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, electrical and instrumentation design specifications, detailed designs, and work packs/scopes of work.
  • Site experience in investigations, scoping, commissioning, and contractor management.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English, with good communication skills essential for regular client interaction.
  • Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards.

Key requirements include expertise in hazardous areas design and proficiency in conducting early-stage studies for electrical and instrumentation systems.

The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge of control systems design, process safety, and machine safety.
