Scattered throughout the CBD over four locations, Upstanding Citizens is an oasis and an escape for people who are serious about outstanding coffee. Focused on delivering specialty coffee with the highest standard of service, we are the first stop and the main highlight of our customer’s morning ritual.

We are looking for a vibrant, energetic, and friendly Barista who is not only passionate about delivering outstanding coffee, but also loves engaging with people and is keen to join a fun and bubbly team in a beautiful espresso bar.

If you are a Superstar Barista who is passionate about delivering the highest standard of cup in the fastest time possible with the biggest smile you can muster, and you appreciate professionalism, teamwork, and you love coming to a fast-paced and thriving work environment - then we have the job for you

× Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a full-time Barista

× Be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of coffee making techniques

× Be confident and have solid experience in high volume (but also high standards) coffee

× Able to maintain extremely high standards under pressure

× Be well presented and friendly

× Be able to work well in a team and communicate politely and effectively

× Be able to speak English confidently and fluently

Operated by well-known Melbourne coffee roaster and hospitality group, Upstanding Citizens is the perfect next step in your hospitality career. We would ideally like someone who wants to grow and develop with a supportive and dynamic company over the long term.

At UC we work hard, we have fun, and we are proud of what we do.

Hours:
Approximately 38 hours over 5 days a week (Monday - Friday only)
*Must be available Monday - Friday
