Ten Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a shift leader for a manufacturing client in the FMCG/food space.

**_Shift Team Lead _**:

- (Rotating Day, Afternoon and Night Shift)_

Are you a shift leader with exposure to the food industry? Ten Recruitment are currently recruiting a shift leader for a state of the art manufacturing plant based in Hope Valley.

**_Purpose of the position:_**

Lead, supervise and coordinate Production operations, ensuring optimal effectiveness and governance across all activities, in accordance with quality standards, customer specifications and in compliance with company policies, procedures, directions and guidelines.

**_Lead Production & Product Quality:_**
- Supervise, coordinate and monitor entire production operation across all Mill Technician activities, including bulk out-loading, press operation and batching activities to deliver optimal production and product outcomes, whilst mitigating risks/hazards;
- Undertake feed testing and sampling processes, providing accurate and timely analysis and reports, resulting in the delivery of safe feed products to quality regulation standards and customer specifications;
- Coordinate minor adjustments to outbound schedule to accommodate intermittent time changes or delays;
- Support Chain of Responsibility processes, in accordance with company policies and procedures;
- Lead and undertake plant inspections and maintenance activities in accordance with the clients standards;
- Supervise and monitor production safety, hazard mitigation and hygiene and site security in accordance with the clients standards
- Identify issues and problems promptly and escalate with manager to source effective solutions;
- Understand and optimise interfaces between different work areas;
- Supervise and undertake the accurate interpretation and adherence to operational procedures and specific instructions;
- Complete records, documentation and reporting promptly, accurately and completely;
- Lead commitment to continually seek improvements throughout production activities; and
- _Undertake Mill Operation tasks, as required_**_._**

**_QUALIFICATIONS:_**
- Advanced Feed Milling Training; Food Processing
- (Cert III; Dip).
- Australian Right to Work
- Valid WA drivers’ licence.

**Desirable**
- Forklift Ticket/Licence.
- Working at heights, confined space ticket.
- Tertiary frontline management qualification.

**Knowledge & Experience**
- Recent previous Team Leader experience (2+ Years).
- Sound understanding of quality standards HACCP, GMP & Feedsafe.
- Working knowledge fixed plant operation including process manufacturing knowledge.
