The successful person we are looking for should be able to draw from their operational warehouse management experience to ensure daily operations are executed to meet both customer and company service levels. With a focused and committed approach to ensuring our products get to the customer, they must be a people leader who is able to instil high productivity across all levels within the warehouse along with developing and coaching those around them. Communicating effectively at all levels comes naturally to them and will see them engaging with key internal and external stakeholders.

**About you**:

- Extensive experience in a similar operation, warehouse, and/or logistics role within a high-volume warehouse environment
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and anticipate needs
- Strong leadership skills including the capability to drive improvement
- Strong business management skills with strengths in many areas such as service, customer service, warehouse, operations, logistics, and inventory management
- Excellent skills in word processing and integrated database systems
- Proven WHS background

**About the role**:

- Oversee the daily function of the distribution centre
- Manage the warehouse team
- Ensure the Health and Safety Policy is implemented and adhered to at all times
- Control wage costs
- In conjunction with the National Despatch Manager, manage driver sub-contractors and ensure they are adhering to the contractor agreement
- Control weekly inventory and undertake to report
- Ensure that store movements are followed up and finalised weekly
