**Position Information**:
Murray Farm Public School has earned a reputation for academic and cultural excellence. The school draws students from established areas in Carlingford, North Rocks and West Pennant Hills. The current enrolment of 923 has a Non-English Speaking Background (NESB) population of 87.6%. Less than 1% of students identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. The school delivers quality learning design, through conceptually planned curriculum, that is differentiated for the needs of all learners. Murray Farm PS is one of only four NSW Department of Education bilingual schools currently delivering Japanese K-6. The school also runs a challenge program across grades 3-6. **Selection Criteria**:
Approval to teach students with learning and support needs (primary) and/or experience teaching students with learning and support needs (primary) in regular classes. Capacity to provide specialist assistance to students in regular classes with additional learning and support needs and their teachers.

Demonstrated knowledge of and support for students with learning difficulties and provision of resources.

Demonstrated effective communication skills between staff and the community.

Strong understanding of high potential and gifted education policy.
