We have a Coordinator opportunity in a small, community focused school in Alphington.

About the role

Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

About the school

Manage a medium attendance service - 45 place licensed, average morning attendance of 4 and afternoon attendance of 10 children in a great community focused school. Permanent part-time position with 28 hours per week including administration hours. This small and beautiful service has experienced staff to support the team who have been around for a long time.

Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Enjoy working with kids, and experience leading a team Strong and clear communication, and a team player Able to work split shifts Monday to Friday (have the middle of the day free) during term time Relevant qualification according to ACECQA (check their website for more info) Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children Australian work rights
