Role Description/Criteria

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • relevant qualifications ie Masters in Wellbeing
  • a commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children;
  • registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching;
  • accreditation to teach Religious Education (or a willingness to gain this accreditation);
  • commitment to teamwork and the skills to work collaboratively;
  • a passion for working with children, dedicated to supporting their academic, emotional and spiritual growth; and
  • openness to reflection and a commitment to professional growth.

The position currently available is a twelve month fixed term contract for the 2026 with possibility to extend into 2027.

  • A cover letter (of no more than 2 pages) outlining your suitability for the position;
  • A current Curriculum Vitae detailing your experience, skills and employment history - including the details of any volunteer work involving children;
  • the names and contact details of at least three referees. It is a requirement that applicants include their most recent principal/employer as one of their referees; and
  • the completed and signed Application Form (attached)
  • Applicants require VIT registration
  • Applicants will be required to have a strong understanding of the Child Safe Standards and relevant policies.
