The **Application Architect/Billing System Functional Consultant** will be focused on delivering business value to customers by architecting effective information systems and solutions that address the customer’s business problems, needs and opportunities, in a manner consistent with company strategic and business goals.

**_ Responsibilities: _**
- Provide architectural and technical direction and consultation for projects and proposals.
- Translate requirements into requirement documents, statements of work, and proposals.
- Architect custom solutions of project or operational scope that appropriately addresses business problems.
- Provide leadership in architectural projects.
- Customize reusable solutions of project and program or operational scope.
- Capture and share architectural IP at the component level.
- Tailor the company product and service offerings to architect solutions and proposals to meet customer needs.
- Assess technical impact of multiple technologies/strategies.
- Identify and address technical or operational risks.

- Active MQ (For JMS)
- Windows
- Azure

**_ Education and Experience Required: _**
- Industry experience - 10 years or more.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.

**_ Desirable Qualities: _**
- Proven ability to work independently, and across a medium sized teams
- Proven ability to work to a project schedule and achieve successful client-focused outcomes
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to conduct research, as well as rapidly learn new concepts and tasks, with a view of improving technical knowledge and skills.
