**About the Company**

Our client is one of Australia's largest privately-owned providers of specialized equipment for the mining and construction industry. Well established, with over forty years in the industry, they design and manufacture earthmoving equipment and attachments that are sold in over 29 countries.

**The Role - Spare Parts Interpreter / Internal Sales role**

We are looking for a person to fill the position of Spare Parts Interpreter / Internal Sales. This role involves sourcing and ordering parts to meet customers' spare parts needs and to be the first point of contact for customer enquiries. You will also provide an Internal Sales role where you will process customer orders, provide quotations, and raise purchase orders. You will also maintain dialogue with customers on parts, orders and general enquiries to conclusion.

**Duties**
- Provide prompt, dependable, high-quality service to all internal and external customers
- Identify customer's parts requirements, at the counter and over the phone
- Source and order parts
- Provide advice regarding parts specifications to customers
- Develop knowledge of all parts and accessories, parts history
- Assist customers with determination of parts and accessories requirements
- Take Customer(s) orders for parts and fill them as fast as possible
- Support the Sales team with administrative duties
- Process invoice and dispatch items via freight company, delivery or as required

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience as a Spare Parts Interpreter
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of earthmoving capital equipment and/or mining, manufacturing or construction industry an advantage
- Some experience in sales and sales administration
- Basic to intermediate skill in Microsoft Word and Excel
