Poultry Caretaker/maintenance Assistant

The main responsibilities of the Poultry Caretaker/Maintenance Assistant are:
- Working at multiple locations.
- Being available 24/7 for urgent livestock alarms and breakdowns.
- Conducting daily animal welfare checks and keeping accurate records.
- Ensuring compliance with the livestock batch management plan.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and condition of poultry sheds, equipment, and farm sites.
- Keeping the sites secure and presentable.
- Performing technical and mechanical maintenance on equipment and addressing issues promptly.
- Establishing and maintaining a schedule for preventive maintenance.
- Coordinating with contractors and suppliers as needed.
- Meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, and occasional nights.
- Basic knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, and computers.
- Valid driver's license.
- Valid forklift license.
- Valid HR license (preferred)
- Supportive of a positive work environment.
- Strong commitment to safety for oneself and others.
- Loyalty, trustworthiness, and high integrity.
- Good overall health and physical condition.
Includes on-site accommodation with reduced rent, and a company vehicle.
**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
