**What You Will Be Working On**:
As a Parks Maintenance Operator you will play a key role in the maintenance and upkeep of the City's parks and gardens and streetscapes. Your responsibilities will include; participating in the maintenance of all City reserves and gardens including weeding, lawn mowing, hedging, pruning, mulching and spraying.

**What Type Of Person Will Be Successful**:
You will have demonstrated experience in general parks maintenance and use with power tools. A qualification in Horticulture or Turf will be desirable

Your sound knowledge of safe work practices in a parks environment will be key to the ouctomes of this role.

Other skills that will support you in this role include:

- Basic Worksite Traffic Management
- Ability to use a chainsaw
- Ability to drive a tractor
- Experience in using a powered spray unit
