We are seeking an experienced Shop Butcher for our Good Food Shop.

The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate outstanding organisational abilities and butchering abilities coupled with superior customer service.

**Responsibilities include**:

- The cutting and preparation of meat to a high standard
- Creating, maintaining and showcasing meat displays
- Product innovation
- Ensuring the store team complies with food handling, hygiene, food safety, labelling, weight and measures regulations

**To be successful in this role you will need to**:

- Be a trade qualified butcher
- Have high attention to detail
- Have strong interpersonal communication skills
- Be passionate about food and cooking
- Have superior customer service skills striving to over deliver to the customer every time.
- Have a desire for success, be self-motivated and have the ability to work under pressure
- Have a great sense of humour
- Have a high standard of personal presentation and cleanliness
- Be able to make the most of every sales opportunity
