SALES ASSISTANT

As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with purchases , preparing Meat & Seafood products for sale, and ensuring a seamless customer experience at our Shop and Market Stalls.

Main thing is a friendly & can do attitude ,being reliable and working as part of a team

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet customers and assist them in selecting products, providing detailed information about cuts, preparation methods, and pricing as required .
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales area, ensuring products are properly displayed and labeled.
  • Process customer transactions accurately using Eftpos systems and handle cash payments
  • Receive, unpack, and stock incoming inventory, checking for quality and freshness.
  • Prepare and create products for sale in the shop & markets as directed
  • Clean down Shop and Trucks as directed to maintain Safe Food Handling & Transportation
  • Monitor inventory levels and inform management of low stock or replenishment needs.
  • Collaborate and work with team members to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Deal with Customers, Suppliers and other Team Members professionally at all times
  • Some heavy lifting required
  • Hours can be flexible : Partime or Fulltime
  • Having a LR Truck licence would be advantageous

Pay: $32.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 38 per week
