**About the role**

As the Finance and Admin Team Leader you will oversee all financial processes at GEL, which includes direct debits, reconciling income, invoicing and purchase orders.

The role also involves leading and developing a small team of Administration Officers who provide administration support for memberships such as suspensions, cancellations, credits, and dispute resolution processes.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

- **Team Leadership**: Provide leadership to the team motivating them to provide excellent services to staff and members.
- **System Administrator**: Act as the system administrator for Perfect Gym and Computron. No previous experience in these systems are required - we will teach you.
- **Compliance Monitoring**: Ensure all financial and administration service, regulatory, policy and procedural obligations are adhered to.
- **Reporting**: Prepare financial reports for management.
- **Organisational Collaboration**:Collaborate with Council's Finance Team and external financial contractors to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Experience in a finance, administration and/or similar role.
- High level knowledge of all facets of financial management.
- Experience in leading and managing staff.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Current Provide First Aid Level 2 and CPR qualifications (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
