This is a great opportunity for stable hours and regular income.

Client is Schizophrenic and requires 24x7 care. Support worker must have experience with Schizophrenia or severe mental health participants. Minimum 1 year experience is required.

**Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- General cleaning
- Personal care (Shower assist, feeding, grooming etc)
- Everyday living support
- Domestic assistance
- Meal preparation
- Social support and companionship
- Chaperone to appointments
- Dispensing medications
- Implementing Care plans

**Requirements for this role**:

- Available during the week and on weekends
- Covid-19 Vaccine recommended but not mandatory
- High level verbal communication skills
- Impeccable presentation at all times
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children's Check
- CPR and First Aid certificates
- Current Australian National Police Check
- NSW Driver license, reliable car and comprehensive car insurance.
- ABN number, business insurance.

Desirable but not essential:

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar
- Certificate III or IV in Disability Support
- Certificate in Epilepsy/ Seizure management
- Certificate in Manual Handling
- Certificate in Infection control
- Certificate in Enternal feeding support training

**Job Types**: Part-time, Subcontract, Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week
