**About the role**

As an account credit controller, you will be:

- Oversee the daily management of customer accounts, including assessing credit risk, credit limits, and payment terms, management of the release of orders.
- Accurately processing payments and ensuring the reconciliation of cash debt is done efficiently.
- Carefully inputting receipts and addressing dishonoured cheques from Intermediaries promptly, following established procedures.
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to ensure smooth processing of orders and invoices
- In-depth reconciliation of accounts
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal regulations

**About you**

You will be an experienced Credit Controller with at least 2-3 years’ experience in a medium-to-large high-volume environment. Additionally, you will be;
- **Strong Financial Acumen**: Proven experience managing financial aspects of projects, including invoicing, debt collection, and associated reporting is essential.
- **Experience**: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, or a position requiring the requisite financial competencies, ideally within a professional services or infrastructure environment.
- **Educational Background**: A degree or similar qualifications in finance.
- **Organisational Skills**: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent interpersonal skills, including the confidence to engage with senior team members and stakeholders.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Syspro and Microsoft Dynamic, specifically Excel; experience with financial software is a strong advantage.
