**About the Opportunity**

Council is seeking an experienced Labourer to join their Parks and Recreation team, who will undertake of a range of horticultural duties as directed including the maintenance of Council’s park assets and the operation of horticultural plant and equipment.

**This position is based in Dalby.**

Reporting to the Parks and Recreation Supervisor, you will:

- Operate of a range of horticultural plant and equipment in Councils parks, gardens and cemeteries;
- As part of the Parks and Open Space team, carry out maintenance to park assets.

**About yourself**

The successful applicant will have:

- Demonstrated ability to operate relevant horticultural plant/and or equipment including ride on mowers and brush cutters;
- Demonstrated competence/experience in amenity horticulture;
- A current Queensland C Class Licence. “MR” licence (Preferred or willing to obtain); and
- An OH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card.

This role is full time, working 38 hours per week with a fortnightly RDO.
