Site Supervisor

RECS Group Australia are seeking to recruit a permanent Site Supervisor/ Operations manager - RECS Group is a privately owned civil construction company based in Young NSW. RECS Group is a long-established company of over 25 years. Our company has sustainable long-term contracts throughout regional NSW; this position will involve working away from home.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
A Civil Supervisor performs the following tasks:

- Conduct daily pre-start meetings with site teams, addressing all hazards and safety issues; maintain accurate records of attendance and discussion points.
- Submit daily site diaries detailing completed work, variations, and photographic documentation
- Liaising with compliance officers, setting up site safely, planning the work with crew leaders, identify major risks, and identify long lead items.
- Ensure new starters are introduced to the team and are given support to be productive and efficient.
- Meets construction budget and daily targets as set out by management by monitoring project expenditures; identifying variations; implementing corrective actions
- Deliver projects according to scope, timeline, and quality standards by supervising and holding operators accountable.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Maintain accurate records of costs, including invoices, dockets, timesheets, and receipts; ensure timely submission to admin staff.
- Attend management meetings to provide project updates and participate in strategic planning
- Promote and enforce high standards of site safety, including risk assessments, training requirements, and proper equipment use.
- Represent RECS Group in a professional and positive manner, upholding company values on every project.
- Provide leadership in all areas of safety, quality and environmental core values of the business.
- Assist the estimating team with project tenders when required

**We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor with**:

- Minimum **5 years of civil construction experience**, preferably in bulk & detailed excavation, Road construction, environmental works.
- Proven experience supervising **civil crews and subcontractors** on multiple sites
- Strong understanding of **project delivery** from start to finish, including site establishment, coordination, execution, and completion
- Excellent **leadership, communication, and organisational** skills
- Strong knowledge and enforcement of **Work, Health & Safety (WHS)** and environmental standards
- Ability to read and interpret **engineering plans, survey data**, and specifications
- Current **Driver’s Licence** (Truck licence advantage)
- Experience in GPS machine control and in field survey equipment would be advantageous

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
