Landscape Yard Supervisor

Primarily as a Supervisor at a Tegra Landscape yard, however other duties include:

- sales, servicing
customer needs, work in a safe manner, front-end loader and forklift operation, cleaning and maintaining
all plant and equipment, maintain a clean presentable workplace, completing clerical duties, any other
duties as directed and to work and co-operate as a productive team member of the Tegra group.

**_Hands on Duties Include but are not limited to:

- **
- Opening of the premises at the designated opening time;
- Attend to customer needs, answer phone calls, co-ordinate local deliveries;
- Investigate and promote sales in the local area, give customer support and advice;
- Pass on sales/jobs/customer information to concrete Plant Managers, Sales Manager and

Concrete Manager;
- Operate front-end loader, forklift and delivery trucks, ensure vehicles, plant, equipment and yard

are clean and presentable at all times;
- House keeping duties such as, sweeping the yard area, keeping product bins stocked and tidy,

mowing lawns, removing rubbish, cleaning workshop, office and amenities;
- Stock control and ordering of landscape yard supplies;
- Closing and securing the premises at the end of each day.

**_Clerical Duties Include:

- **
- Ensure all work that you do is invoiced in the appropriate Invoice / Delivery / Receipt book, and

C.O.D monies are collected;
- Receive payments from Customers over counter and on site, ie, Account Payments, C.O.D

payments, cash sales, cheques, EFTPOS, etc.
- Complete and submit orders, stocktakes, diesel fuel records, Maintenance Management

documentation, WHS documentation, etc.

**_General:

- **
- Liaise with Sales Manager, Bulk Sales/Allocation Manager and Concrete Manager to ensure

customer needs are serviced in accordance with company policy and procedures;
- Commit to always providing the highest level of customer service;
- Ensure at all times you are neatly dressed and presented in accordance with company policy and

procedure;
- Conduct yourself in a proper and professional manner in accordance with company policy and

procedure;
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with company WHS policy and procedures;
- Attend training seminars or courses as may be required;
- Complete in-house induction and training as may be required;

**_Qualifications:

- **
- Hold a current Drivers Licence, minimum standard of MR; possess a NHVR National Driver Work

Diary;
- Have General Induction White Card;
- Competency for Front Loader operation advantageous;
- Licence to operate forklift truck advantageous;
- Have a knowledge and understanding of the WH&S requirements;
- Industry experience advantageous.

**_Reporting:

- **
- Report directly to senior management;
- Liaise with the ‘Fleet Manager’ with regard to servicing, maintenance and breakdown of plant and

equipment.
