Out of Trade Carpentry Apprentices are encouraged to apply, this is an opportunity to complete your apprenticeship to become a qualified carpenter.

The main role of a carpenter is to construct, erect, install, finish and repair wooden structures and fixtures on residential and commercial buildings.

**You may also undertake the following**:

- Carry out general demolition of minor building structures
- Construct wall and ceiling frames
- Carry out measurements and calculations
- Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry
- Read and interpret plans and specifications

**To be considered for a carpentry apprenticeship the following is required**:

- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical
- Hold a current drivers licence
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Be punctual and have a good work ethic
- Be able to use initiative and work well in a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: From $25,580.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
