We manufacture, supply and install many of the State's largest businesses with their stainless steel requirements from commercial bars and restaurant fit-outs to high-end residential kitchens and alfresco areas.

We are seeking an Industrial Design Draftsperson who is self-motivated, hardworking, reliable and honest to join our Team.

Your role will include liaising with Clients and the MSS team to gain an understanding of the scope and requirements of projects. To use both manual and computer based drawings to design and develop products and analyze costing and materials.

Desirable attributes:

- Attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills using CAD
- Great mechanical aptitude

Your role will include:

- Collaborate with the MSS team to innovate, design and implement design solutions
- Develop design proposals by liaising with MSS staff and Clients including site measures
- Produce drawings using computer assisted drafting software (CAD).
- Product flat patterns, nest and log materials used to the corresponding jobs
- Develop improvements for quality and efficiency to enhance the production process
- Support cost reduction while maintaining design intent and user experience
- Partner with leadership to determine product design strategy and priorities
- Work every day in support of the team, Operations Manager and Director
- Maintain a tidy filing system with up to date templates
- Gaining an understanding of the scope and requirements of projects
- Create 2D & 3D renderings of the finished project
