Our teams manage the clinical and ongoing care management for recipients eligible for Home Care Packages funded by the Commonwealth government. This includes comprehensive assessment, clinical management and support, coordinating delivery and brokerage of services within the package budget and communicating with family and other service providers as required.
**About the role**
As the Quality Care Manager, you’ll play a key role in the ongoing development and implementation of a comprehensive Quality Framework, incorporating clinical quality and policy. The role will support the achievement of HCP strategic objectives and ensure ongoing evaluation of services and their delivery, whilst supporting efforts designed to improve and enhance operational efficiencies.
This is a permanent part time role offering 40 hours per fortnight and reporting directly to the Operations Manager. The Quality Care Manager will work collaboratively with the existing quality and governance structures to provide a framework that incorporates coordination, direction, systematic monitoring and evaluation to positively affect quality, safety and service to employees, clients and stakeholders.
The Quality Care Manager will:
- Assisting in the definition and implementation of QA strategies
- Quality and Safety Commission Standards, developing appropriate action to ensure compliance is maintained
- Educating and supporting staff to ensure processes conform to the principles of continuous quality improvement to critically examine practice, practice change, safety and efficiency
- Assisting to monitor compliance, identifying deficiencies and minimising the impact on Bolton Clarke
- Monitoring and advising on the purpose and performance of Quality systems, producing data and reporting on performance and measuring against set standards and the needs of stakeholders
- Acting as point of contact on quality matters as required, coordinating nonconformity and corrective actions
- Leading activities associated with accreditation and meeting external auditing requirements
- Assisting and undertaking audits in line with clinical and non-clinical audit programs
- Analysing data and preparing reports with recommendations, where relevant
- Assisting in the management of clinical/non-clinical and risk elements for Bolton Clarke
- Assisting in the development of appropriate QA, risk and other related reports
**About you**:
- Degree in Health including AHPRA registration is essential
- Additional qualification or experience in Quality would be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement in a clinical setting
- Proven track record in leading, implementing and managing quality, safety and risk management programs at the senior management level
- Demonstrated understanding of performance measurement, benchmarking, and service standards in the health sector
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including the preparation of reports, briefs and educational materials
- Experience with accreditation and audit processes
