**The role**

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and hard-working person to join our Adbri Masonry team based in Stapylton, Queensland.

As a team player and reliable forklift operator, you will provide support to production teams and yard/despatch functions. You will oversee the inbound and outbound movements of goods/materials from our production plant, maintain a neat and orderly inventory as well as stepping in to support production processes as required.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained
- Follow correct work procedures at all times
- Check/inspect, document and unload inbound goods
- Quality Assurance, preparation and packaging of outbound goods
- Ensure yard and inventory is maintained neat and orderly
- Ensure stocks are suitably stored and rotated
- Communicate effectively between production and yard/despatch functions
- General labouring and machine operating duties to support various production areas as required
- Following established procedures for documenting and/or reporting work performed, hazards, incidents
- Basic maintenance of forklifts, plant and equipment in the work area

**What you will need to succeed**
- Self-motivation and a willingness to learn
- Ability to communicate confidently with various staff
- Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained
- Load and unload trucks safely and accurately
- Move palletised masonry products within the factory and yard
- Complete basic documentation associated with the dispatch of orders
- Make up orders using appropriate manual handling techniques
- Undertake general housekeeping and cleaning
