**How will I help?**
Our Financial Markets Resilience team are a dedicated team of professionals who anticipate and respond to change. In this role, you will assist Resilience in the supervision, monitoring, and management of non-market and credit risks, including operational and compliance risks.
As a Controls Manager in the team, you will be responsible for testing and monitoring current controls and policies, as well as building and implementing new policies and controls for the Resilience team. You will work closely alongside the Business Controls and Monitoring team in ensuring operational risk management activities are implemented in line with policies and procedures.
You will also:
- Perform control self-assessments
- Be the point of contact for the Resilience team on control performance effectiveness
- Ensuring controls and issues data is accurate and up to date
- Support the wider risk community to address key business disruption risk, and work with the Resilience team to address control gaps through robust action planning
- Identify and escalate occurrences of non-adherence to established processes to enable compliance

**What do I need?**
To be successful in this role you will have operational risk controls experience working in a financial markets team. You are an organised individual with the ability to work autonomously with a strong attention to detail. You are also an excellent communicator having strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a curious and analytical mindset who can solve complex problems.
Some further advantageous attributes are:
- 3+ years of risk controls experience
- Experience using Juno or Operational Risk Management System
Desired but not necessary:
- Business Resilience (CPS232, CPS230) controls experience
