An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse ready to step into a key leadership role at a private hospital in Melbourne. It is a permanent Part-Time role.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As an After Hours Hospital Coordinator, your responsibilities will include supervising safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards, supporting and liaising with the respective Nurse Unit Managers of wards and departments, ensuring all areas are staffed appropriately and cost-efficient, coordinating patient admissions and overseeing the safety of all patients and hospital staff.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Current AHPRA registration;
- Recent management experience at ANUM level or higher;
- Tertiary Qualification in a health-related discipline or management (desired);
- Knowledge of relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements (desired);
- Demonstrated experience with the coordination and allocation of staff;
- A high degree of computer literacy, including MS Office;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
- People leadership skills, including mentorship and coaching of team members;
- Ability to manage special projects and selected portfolios;
**ABOUT THE FACILITY**
The hospital, located in Melbourne, is an acute 488-bed facility offering a wide range of surgical, medical, maternity, mental health and rehabilitation care for its patients. The hospital has 13 operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheter theatre, two Catheter Laboratories and four endoscopy procedure rooms, all supported by a critical care unit that includes two intensive care wards.
