We are looking for an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist who loves what they do, is passionate about quality, service development, and building structures that support clinicians to grow, thrive and deliver best-practice clinical services.
**The Opportunity**
You will be responsible for ongoing development and improvement of our clinical governance framework and processes, supporting service development in line with best-practice (post-graduate research skills will be looked on favourably), and supporting structures that enables therapists to grow and deliver great outcomes for our clients. You will support a culture of positive engagement and develop an environment of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of across all our clinical services, reporting directly to our Clinical Services Director.
Your job responsibilities are as follows and not limited to.
- Support clinical capability and development of Empower clinicians across all Empower clinical services. This includes development, review and continuous improvement of our clinical support and development frameworks in line with clinical service and business requirements.
- Support best-practice clinical service delivery and improvement, in line with best practice. This includes development, review, and continuous improvement of Empowers' clinical governance framework, tools, resources, processes, and training.
- Support Empower Clinical Managers to review, manage and minimize clinical risk to the client, the clinician, and the organisation.
- Support service development in line with planning for future growth, changes in the external environment, and business strategy. This includes research to support clinical best-practice in service delivery.

You must have:
- Relevant degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
- Experience working in community aged care services in Australia, including Home Care Package and Commonwealth Home Support Program.
- Substantial clinical experience
- Previous experience in a clinical leadership, clinical governance, or clinical quality management role
- Registration with AHPRA
- Police Check Clearance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time-management and organisational skills and attention to detail
Desirable:
- Post-graduate research skills and experience
