Darul Ulum College of Victoria, located in Fawkner, provides education in an Islamic setting for students from Foundation to Year 12. The College is looking for a Pastoral Worker (working in the occupation of a Religious Assistant).

We are seeking individuals with a commitment to creativity, high levels of motivation and a "can do it" attitude.

The College provides a pleasant work environment and generous employment conditions. All applicants are expected to support the religious ethos of the school.
- Conduct congregational prayers and Islamic rituals, Islamic lectures, spiritual guidance, pastoral care, religious instruction and provide staff training and development in religious matters.

Qualifications for the position:

- Advanced training and expertise in the Islamic Holy Book - the Quran and other authentic Islamic reference materials and rituals.
- Bachelor degree or an equivalent Islamic study qualification from a reputable institution

Relevant skills:

- Well versed in Arabic language including reading, writing and speaking
- Understanding and speaking of English language
- Attained Hafiz of Quran
- Excellent interpersonal skills

Salary is based on qualification and experience.
