**The Role**

As the SOC Supervisor, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of our Security Service Centre (SSC), ensuring 24/7 operational efficiency and rapid response to security incidents. Your role involves managing and mentoring a team, optimising incident management workflows, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our security operations.

**What you will do**:

- Lead and mentor the Security Service Centre (SSC) team, ensuring seamless 24/7 operations.
- Manage incident detection, response, and escalation, maintaining compliance with organisational standards.
- Monitor and optimise workflows, tools, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure a coordinated approach to security.
- Deliver training and development programs to keep the team prepared for emerging threats.
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing process enhancements and staying updated on cybersecurity trends.

**To thrive as a SOC supervisor, you should have**:
**Licenses/Certifications**:

- Current NSW Security Licence - 1A Classification (required)
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications (required)
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Working with Children Check (required)
- Police Check (required)

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- minimum 2 years in a SOC/SSC or security operations role, with 1-2 years in a leadership position.
- Hands-on experience with security monitoring tools and CCTV systems.
- Proven ability to manage security incidents in a high-pressure environment

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving expertise.
- Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
