Female Disability Support Worker

**About the role**:
Our Client is searching for amazing Female Disability Support Workers to join an already incredible team. Do you love music? Our Client absolutely loves putting her tunes on and listening to her favorite songs. She also has a couple of family dogs that she loves spending time with. Our Client loves having a good old chat and chuckle with her Support workers and family. Laughter is key so bring your smiles and humour as our Client has a great sense of humour.

The role will involve assisting with personal cares including catheter and bowel therapy, hoisting, meal prep and domestic support. Manual handling experience is required.

You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan, ongoing training and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.

**The above award base hourly rate for weekdays between the hours of 6am to 8pm is $33.21/hr. Our Saturday rate is $45.33/hr and Sunday is $58.30/hr (Pay rates are not negotiable).**

- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
- **To be Successful you must **_
- Resonate with the role description above
- Hold CPR and first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
- Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain
- preferred)
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Have manual handling experience

**Salary**: $30.00 - $39.99 per hour

**Experience**:

- bowel therapy: 1 year (preferred)
- Catheter care: 1 year (preferred)
- hoisting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Card or Yellow Card (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
