We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our team to work with participants on the north of Brisbane. We are looking for support workers who have good communication skills and good knowledge about aged care to assist our participants.

We provide aged care, personal care support, domestic assistance, and community access support to various participants.

**Duties and responsibilities may include**:

- Personal care: showering, dressing and grooming
- Medication reminding
- Domestic assistance: household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Community Access: social activities, grocery shopping, medical appointments
- Supporting clients who have mental health challenges.
- Supporting clients with physical and/or challenging needs.
- Expected to follow the company policies and procedures and code of conduct.
- Monitoring the well-being of clients reporting and documenting on their progress.
- Attending training as required.

**You will have**:

- Minimum Certificate III in Disability or ged Care
- Experience in disability support work or Mental Health support
- Current CPR / First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one once commenced
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle
- Smart mobile phone with internet access

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Taigum QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
