**Your day to day**
As a stewarding team leader, you will support the extensive Food & Beverage and Kitchen operations by cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and the work areas while maintaining hygienic standards and practices. You will lead the stewarding team and maintain standards in the absence of the facilities manager for functions ranging from 40 guests to 1000 guests.

**What we need from you**
Ideally you'll have at least 1 year experience in a similar department, keen eye for detail, excellent time management and communication skills.

As a leader you will need to be:

- Able to take responsibility and initiative to get tasks completed.
- Able to build and maintain positive relations with all stakeholders.
- Open to new ideas and ways of working.
- Capable of working and coordinating the team to meet deadlines including completing tasks in a timely manner.
- A great communicator, you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to.

Your role will be flexible and you must be able to work weekends and public holidays.

You must meet the legal requirements to work in Australia.
