We have multiple permanent part-time roles available, offering flexible working hours, with contracts ranging from a minimum of 15 hours per week, up to 30 hours per week. Our busiest period of care delivery is between Monday
- Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm. If you are available for some, or all of this time period then we would love to hear from you- Our Care Aides deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain their independence, where possible. Responsibilities include a range of personal care tasks incl. showering, grooming, toileting etc. and other support such as medication assistance, meal preparation, domestic assistance/general housekeeping tasks and social support in the community. Care Aides will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, therefore having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously, via a mobile app, will be essential.- About you- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability is highly desirable, although not essential.
- Those with a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 3 months relevant care worker experience. Those without a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 6+ months relevant care worker experience (FTE).
- Experience working in a home care/community setting is highly desirable.
- A valid Drivers’ License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
- Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
- Align to Silverchain Groups COVID-19 vaccination policy which requires evidence of vaccination against COVID-19, or evidence of an authorised medical exemption.
- Benefits- $34.69 per hour + super
- Travel allowance of $0.99 per k/m
