**Packages starts**: AUD 100000 plus superannuation

**Responsibilities**:
1. Assess Business Requirements and Technical documents to create detailed solution designs

2. Contribute to high-level conceptual solution architecture

4. Document technical specifications and integration patterns across upstream and downstream environments

5. Analyse interface requirements and document interface mappings

6. Undertake impact analysis on system implementation and design options and manage risk

7. Work closely with team leads to ensure architectural solutions align with project goals and team capabilities

8. Analyse and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring solutions meet quality standards

9. Present proposed architectures to forums, effectively communicating key concepts

10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business objectives

**Required skills and experience**:
1. 8+ years ICT experience in total (SDLC, Data Modelling, System Integration)

2. 3+ years’ experience as a Solution Designer in total

3. A strong background in software development with a deep understanding of software architecture principles

4. Demonstrated experience with Microservices Architecture (MSA), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and/or Event-Driven Architecture

5. Extensive experience across JAVA, Springboot, Angular, SQL & NoSQL DB, API & API GW, Message Brokers and Container Platforms

6. Ability to implement and enforce security best practices for APIs, including OAuth, JWT, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.

7. Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive API documentation (OpenAPI), including design specifications, guidelines, and best practices.

8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges

9. Proven experience in solution design for complex systems

10. Experience in creating detailed solution plans and evaluating technologies

11. Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic environment

12. Experience working with different data platforms including the Hadoop ecosystem

13. Knowledge of data, security and integration patterns and techniques

14. Exposure to CI/CD practices and principles

15. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in parallel

16. Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences

**Nice to have**:
Ericsson IMS and Packet Core architecture

Knowledge of 3GPP architecture-based voice and mobile core design

Certified in TOGAF Solution Architecture Jira / Confluence experience

Australian citizenship preferred with ability to get Baseline security clearance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
