**About the role**

The Social Work Grade 1 role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of specialist social work assessment & interventions to assist individual consumers to achieve the highest level of independent function, leading to successful community integration and improved quality of life outcomes for consumers.

**About you**
- Essential_
- Holds a degree qualification in social work that has been approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers for membership as a social worker.
- Eligible for registration with the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW).
- A full driver’s licence.
- A satisfactory police check is required prior to appointment.
- A strong commitment to high quality care.
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

**Desirable**
- Knowledge of and experience working with the Collaborative Recovery Model.
- Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the _Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice)_. Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment._
