Robert Half are partnering with a prominent mining and exploration firm in Subiaco, seeking a talented Accounts Receivable Supervisor for a to lead a team during a 6-month project with an immediate start required. They're in need of a skilled individual to lead their accounts receivable function and drive financial excellence within their team. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the mining sector's success while showcasing your expertise in financial management.

**The Role**
- Implement proactive credit control measures, closely monitoring outstanding balances to minimise bad debt risks and ensure financial stability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to swiftly resolve customer inquiries, disputes, and billing discrepancies, fostering seamless communication and problem-solving.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality throughout the process.
- Generate regular reports and conduct detailed analysis on accounts receivable status, identifying trends and proposing improvement strategies to optimise financial performance.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in accounts receivable, preferably within the mining or related industries.
- Familiarity with the SAGE system and proficiency in accounting software for managing financial data and generating reports.
- Strong background in credit control, demonstrating the ability to implement effective collection strategies and mitigate financial risks.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
