Exercise Physiologist

Align Motion Physio, a new and rapidly growing physiotherapy and allied health company, is seeking an enthusiastic Exercise Physiologist to join our team (new grads and experienced EPs are encouraged to apply). We are looking for a confident and motivated individual who is passionate about helping people and improving their quality of life through exercise.

We are a Private Practice Clinic located in Westmead with satellite clinics all over western Sydney. We provide bulk-billing medical and allied health services to our local community. We also see patients through Private health insurance as well as Workers Compensation/CTP and NDIS patients (plan/self managed).

The Role:

- We are seeking full time Accredited Exercise Physiologists to join our team of health professionals.
- Assess patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions arising from work related, motor vehicle accidents, NDIS, sports and general private consultations.
- Clinical exercise prescription, instruction and supervision, health education and exercise-based lifestyle and behaviour modification services.
- Varied settings including at local centres, homes, local gyms, pools and workplaces.

About You:

- Organised Team Member who is willing to adapt, learn and improve.
- Coachable and open to feedback.
- Ability to assess and prescribe gym/hydro-based exercises in the treatment/management of musculoskeletal injuries and chronic conditions.
- Strong ability to maintain strong working relationships with patients and referrers.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and report writing skills.
- Full registration with ESSA.
- Eligibility for registration with Medicare.
- Professional indemnity insurance, valid police check, and WWCC.
- Current driver’s license.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $34.05 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
