**THE OPPORTUNITY**

**Salary**:$78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + annual leave loading (dependant on qualifications and experience).
**Time Fraction**:Part time, 0.6 EFT.
**Location**:Chadstone campus.
**WWCC**: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
**Police Check**:Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
**Position Status**:Ongoing contract of employment, with a 6-month qualifying period.

Holmesglen invites expressions of interest from passionate educators to teach and assess in the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing/Disability) and/or Certificate IV in Disability Support.

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality education and training, equipping students with the skills to design, implement, and evaluate leisure activities and health programs for ageing clients.

In this role, you will:

- Teach and assess students in the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and/or Disability) and/or Certificate IV in Disability Support.
- Support students from course enquiry through to assessment, using diverse and innovative teaching strategies.
- Develop course materials and collaborate with industry partners to ensure training aligns with current sector needs.
- Contribute to course coordination and operational activities to enhance student success.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or an equivalent predecessor or successor qualification).
- Experience in teaching vocational and/or higher education, with expertise in developing and implementing training and assessment strategies - specifically in the fields of ageing and disability support.
- Recent experience in disability support, aged care or community services, preferably within the disability sector.
- Current industry knowledge directly relevant to the training and assessment being delivered in Certificate IV in Disability Support and Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).
- Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with team members and contribute to a supportive, inclusive work culture.
- Hold a Certificate IV in Disability, Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and/or Disability), or an approved equivalent qualification at or above the level being delivered and assessed, or in a related field such as Community Services.
