We are currently seeking friendly, energetic, and professional persons to provide classroom and learning support assistance and aid teachers in the care and delivery of the learning program for our students.

Commencing Term 2, there are multiple fixed term, part-time positions available, with a minimum of 2 days (12 hours) per week. All positions are term-time only with the occasional additional day for staff professional development.

**Description**:
We are looking for reliable individuals, with prior Teacher Aide experience to:

- Support the teacher/s in facilitating lessons and activities, including preparation;
- Work with students individually or in small groups on activities planned under the supervision of a teacher;
- Assist students to comply with teacher instruction;
- Prepare equipment and materials specific to the student and classroom needs in accordance with teacher’s direction;
- Observe students and draw attention of the teacher to the students when necessary;
- Provide assistance during class activities, as required, to ensure maximum participation in programs; and
- Develop an effective, positive relationship with all students in the class.

Additional responsibilities for Learning Support:

- Implement modifications to student work as set/directed by a teacher; and
- Implement support programs (literacy and numeracy) under the direction of the teacher

- Understanding, kind, and considerate;
- Passionate about helping to improve student’s learning outcomes;
- Professional, positive, and friendly manner;
- Ability and desire to learn and develop professionally, personally, and spiritually;
- A MiniLit certificate would be an advantage;
- Integrity and trust; and
- Teamwork and reliability.

- Be able to demonstrate a Christian commitment consistent with the College’s Ethos;
- Have or be willing to obtain a ‘Working with Children Blue Card’ prior to commencement; and
- Have current first aid certificate with CPR or willing to obtain.
